Pastor Daniel Ferdinand Bio

Daniel Ferdinand was born on December 17, 1956, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was reared on the farm in Ville Platt, Louisiana after His mother Olecia Ardoin /Edward married his stepfather, Ferdinand Edward. He received his elementary education at James Steven Elementary in Ville Platt, Louisiana. Upon moving to Houston, Texas, he Continued his secondary education at B. C. Elmore Middle School and graduated form Forest Brook High School. Pastor Ferdinand has always been actively involved in the work of the church through various ministries. He was licensed and he was ordained in 1982 by the late Pastor O. Wilson at the Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, TX.

In 1990 to 2001, Pastor Ferdinand was called to serve as pastor of St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Hankamer, TX. While serving there he had the privilege of leading the construction of a new Sanctuary and Christian Education building, never neglection to thank God for the opportunity to serve His people. In 2005 to 2018, Pastor Ferdinand took o the responsibility of pastor of Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, again, being grateful for the opportunity to serve God’s people.
